Signing up is free (that's quite the point of the DeSoSignUp app in the first place). But as there is a fee to create accounts on the DeSo blockchain, the system needs
some DeSo to do so. This is paid by 🤍 our sponsors, who send DeSo to @DeSoSignUp to fund further sign-ups.
There is a $DESO 0.015 'transaction fee', though: 0.01 go to me (@thorsten) to develop and run DeSoSignUp, another 0.005 are sent to @paulburke, as parts of DeSoSignUp are based on his great work
for @DesogenApp.
